Central Church redevelopment open house
Dear Neighbour of Central Church:
Central Presbyterian Church has been a part of the West End Community for almost a century and continues to serve the community as a place of worship, town meeting hall, a venue for community social gatherings and a refuge in time of crisis.
Central Church, along with our partner congregations Galilee Korean Presbyterian Church and Christ Alive Community Church, focuses upon being active in the local community and among other services we provide free community breakfasts and dinners, meeting rooms for local groups, day-care and out of school care, and serve as a host site for the Vancouver Food Bank.
As communities grow and change so do their places of Worship. At Central Church we are developing plans for innovative ways to maintain and expand our ministries, missions, and services to the city as a whole along with the assistance we provide to our congregation and community.
A full Open House for the West End community will be held on Wednesday, June 27th, 5pm-8pm, but as a close neighbour of Central Church we invite you to come to the church on Monday, June 25th for an advance presentation of our initial ideas for a redeveloped and re-imagined Central Church.
Advance Presentation Details
